Lots of people waiting for RISUG

It looks like I am not the only one anticipating the arrival of RISUG anywhere in the world:

and that was back in 2005!

They are going to keep us on pins and needles a bit longer it appears.

So what's the current status of RISUG? I can't find any info beyond 2008. Is it released in India now? Can foreigners fly there to get it? How do we do that? U.S. release progress?

Some recent RISUG info I got from a newmalecontraception dog org editor (or is it IMCC editor... whichever):

YES, there's finally progress on RISUG!

We're going to put out another IMC Coalition newsletter soon, so that will give more detail. But here's the basic deal: a U.S. foundation licensed the technology in February to start working on it in the U.S. The first step is FDA-quality manufacturing and some toxicity studies, then an animal efficacy study; but I expect clinical trials will start within 2-3 years. So we definitely want to know about people like you!

Do sign up on the newsletter list at www dot NewMaleContraception dot org so you get the updates.

Thanks for writing, and stay in touch. I think it's finally happening!
